The objective of this project was to provide the Corridor Sections of Auburn University's Lowder Hall with a complete interior renovation as per the design intent provided by the customer. This interior renovation (provided to both the first & second floors of the corridor section) included, but was not limited to: Demo and replacement of all existing flooring in hallways with new ceramic tile and rubber cove base; Demo and replacement of all acoustical ceiling grid/tile system; Installation of new handrail systems on second floor overlook; Installation of new stairwell railing system; Installation of new ACM Column Wraps; Remove and replace all classroom doors & hardware; Application of new wallpaper to all existing hallway walls.
Bethel Atlanta Retreat Barn

Located in Tyrone, GA, Bethel Atlanta Church’s new 14,000 SF Retreat Barn is a custom rustic wooden worship space. Being a ground up/design build project, Carlisle Construction was responsible for design of the Architectural, Electrical, Civil, Structural, and Mechanical aspects of this project.
J.C. Smith Museum of Fine Arts Renovation and Acoustical Improvements

Carlisle Construction renovated of 5,600 SF of space in the Jule Collins Smith Museum of art. Work included protection of museum surfaces; setting up temporary cooling and conditioning; dust protection in a critical museum space; applying BASWAphon Acoustical plaster and insulation product on a large portion of the museum; Installing acoustical sound panels; prepping and painting existing museum surfaces; applying thermal window tint to museum windows and replacing any broken windows; extending and retrofitting sprinkler and electrical fixtures; installing new lighting in the museum café; performing a system duct cleaning; performing a final system T&B; modifying existing metal architectural features per museum guidelines and directives; and cleaning the construction space. This work was accomplished with a hard deadline in a tight time frame.
Restoration and Renovation
Christ the King Catholic Church

Carlisle Construction was approached to renovate and restore Christ the King Catholic Church in Pine Mountain, GA after the original sanctuary was struck by lightning and sustained major fire and water damage. This scope included demolition of the damaged heavy timber package, damaged interior finishes, and the entire front walkway sidewalk and canopy. Carlisle Construction installed, sanded, and stained a new heavy timber package, installed a new nonvented roofing system, installed all interior finishes including an Armourcoat Polished Plaster system, and rebuilt the front entrance cloister with a matching heavy timber package and installed a new exposed aggregate sidewalk walkway and stone columns. Carlisle also participated heavily in the design process towards the end of this project, contributing to the site package design and recommending many of the final finishes and methods.
Student Center Renovation – 2nd Floor

The objective of this project was to conduct phase two of an overhaul renovation to the Auburn University Student Center. This phase included demolishing and replacing all the flooring, wall coverings, and rubber base on the entire second floor of the structure, including within the cafeteria/food court area, multiple classrooms, and conference rooms attached to the main area of the center. Carlisle Construction strategically planned this project in several phases to facilitate the continued use of the building throughout the duration of the project, including occupation by students, visitors, and several large orientation camps. This project included demolishing all flooring and rubber base; providing and installing new VCT flooring and rubber base; and repainting all walls, including removal of wallpaper and preparation of walls when necessary.
